Tevaera gaming ecosystem is made up of 2 core offerings: Teva Games and Infra products. As a Tevan, you need a Soulbound Citizen ID to get a complete experience across Teva games, Guardian Characters and infra products.
Reputation (Rep) Score
A key question we have constantly asked ourselves is: How do we identify active Tevans in the gaming ecosystem?
Tevaera Rep Score (TRS) “dynamically” tracks and measures Tevan’s engagement and holdings across Tevaera gaming ecosystem. This score informs your Soulbound Citizen ID tier which is divided into 7 levels:
Bronze < 5000 rep score
Silver -> 5000–20000 rep score
Gold -> 20000–50000 rep score
Platinum -> 50000–100000 rep score
Diamond -> 100000–200000 rep score
OG -> 200000–500000 rep score
Guardian > 500000 rep score
Rep Score Weightage and Formula
Current Rep Score is the weighted average score of:
12% of your gaming skill points + 8% of your “game vault” karma tokens + 1% of your gaming experience points = Total Rep Score. + 1% of your total rep score, if you have minted Sphinx + 2% of your total rep score * number of Phoenix you have.
Example: Barney has 775 Skill points; 210 Karma points; 15,500 Experience points; Sphinx Character minted; 1 Phoenix NFT.
This will make his rep score to be:
12% of 775 + 8% of 210 + 1% of 15,500 = 264 (Total Rep Score) + 1% of 264 + 2% of 264 = 272 Rep score.
In case Barney had 2 Phoenix, he would have gotten an additional 2% of his total rep score added to the rep score total. Also, be able to show off his multiple Phoenix character in game : ) The rep score multiplier is only applicable to Premium Guardian NFTs i.e., Sphinx not included.
Why did my Rep Score and Rank change today?
This was a planned adjustment, and we have mentioned this several times in Discord over the last month.
The biggest change was XP (always a positive number with multipliers) going from 5% to 1%, which changed your rep score significantly, but this change was essential and uniformly applied across the board.
What went wrong?
It took us time to run a script to update 25,000 + records of users with rep score (have played Teva Run), meanwhile anyone who played the game after deployment forced an update on their scores which created confusion. Why is my rank down? Why is my rep score down?
All records have now been synced. Your rank should be back to normal. You may have seen a demotion in your tier, but that’s due to rep score being normalized with the introduction of new NFT variables.
Will by Rep score change in the future? How will we know?
Yes, as we introduce more dynamic factors for Rep score variables, but there will be more changes with $teva token coming, staking, dex, new premium NFT Guardians, market and your skills in new games. These variables are meant to recognize and reward the active Tevans and their contribution to the ecosystem. You can always expect the formula to be transparent, fair and uniformly applied.
One thing, we can do better next time is to involve you guys as we introduce new variables (How it impacts you? What can you do ahead of time?) and provide more communication before the change. Hope this makes sense, always happy to listen to your feedback, if we ain’t doing this right.
More importantly, remember Rep score will always be a big deal because we will use this as a criteria for any future “preferences” and “rewards”. You will keep seeing examples of this. A big one is coming in June.
Congrats Phoenix Minters!
As of writing this post close to 60% Tevans have already minted their Phoenix character. Wow! Hope you like it as in-game Teva Run character with a nice fireball power up : ) In future, Phoenix will have many more utilities coming like:
- Use as a character across other Teva Games
- Accessorize your premium NFT using shop, and create custom UGC (user-generated content) NFT. Wouldn’t that be super cool?
- Rep score weightage (already live)
- Limited supply. Imagine Teva Games number go up. Phoenix number stay as is or deflationary (burn unclaimed NFTs etc.)
We expect Phoenix to get much more traction with Teva Market going live this month, and we won’t be introducing any new supply (2nd and 3rd round of Phoenix airdrop, we mean) until it's a value add for the community.
