Tevaera 2.0 — User Guide

With Tevaera 2.0, our goal is to provide a seamless gaming experience by taking web3 gaming to the next level by providing a platform that is accessible, fun, and rewarding.

Important Information

1. You will need ETH in zkSync testnet to participate in Tevaera 2.0. You can claim ETH from https://portal.zksync.io/faucet or transfer Goerli ETH to zkSync testnet.
2. Make sure to clear your cache, hard refresh, and reset your Metamask after zkSync regenesis on Feb 8th,2023.
3. Please note you would need to fund and activate your Argent wallet, if you decide to use it, before you can login. Metamask should work as usual. No changes there.
4. Existing Mainent or Testnet Users — use the same wallet that you used previously to access the Tevaera platform. Your accounts and any earned KP from previous testing will be consolidated for claim with mainnet when zkSync 2.0 goes live.

Here’s what everyone can expect in Tevaera 2.0:

1. Log in with ease: Tevaera 2.0 is now accessible through tevaera.com and/or testnet.tevaera.com. Web3 login is now also possible with the Argent wallet, which is a smart wallet built using account abstraction from zkSync. You can still log in with Metamask and email if you choose.
2. Check your snapshot balance: You can now see your snapshot balance from mainnet 1.0 and testnet 2.0 in the hamburger menu. Enjoy! Make sure you are logging in with the right wallet/email address.
3. Fresh start: zkSync regenesis on Feb 8th makes this a fresh start for all Tevans. Your snapshot has your KP balance till date, and you are starting fresh on Tevaera 2.0 today. Again, make sure you are using the same wallet you have used before.
4. Mint your Tevan ID: All users will have the opportunity to mint a new TevanID. This ID is a soulboundID that is non-transferable and will help you keep track of your game progress and Rep Score in the Tevaera 2.0 ecosystem. We also have a new and improved Tevan Citizen Card that tracks these details!
5. Choose your Guardian NFT character: Once you have minted your Tevan ID, you can mint a free Guardian NFT character or upgrade to a premium NFT character. This Guardian NFT will be your character in all Teva Games, starting from Teva Run, and you can personalize it to your liking through an accessories shop in future. These NFTs will be tradeable when Teva Market goes live.
6. Buy Karma Points (KP): Karma Points are now available to purchase as ERC 20 tokens; KP is currently non-tradeable. The max cap is 2500 KP per account. This allows you to easily purchase and transfer KP to the game vault, which can then be used for “pool play” mode in our new multiplayer game, Teva Run. Please note any KP outside of Teva Quest will not be available when we go mainnet 2.0.
7. Play Teva Quest: You can still play our MVP community engagement game and earn up to a max of 150 KP. If you have previously maxed out your KP, no additional KP is earned.
8. Update your user name: You can also update your username from the hamburger menu. This will come in handy when playing future games. Additionally, in future versions Username will be unique and on-chain.
9. Test Teva Run: All users who are whitelisted for Teva Run can play and help test our new multiplayer game. Additional details will be provided in the private channel.
