Engage to Earn is live!
Are you ready, a̶n̶o̶n̶ Tevan?
We are all set to launch the much awaited engage to earn Karma for all mainnet Tevans who are part of our discord community and have linked their profile. The engage to earn program is being powered by Tevaera’s Karma bot, which also allows real time access to Karma stats such as rank, leaderboard and Karma points. Ready?
Introduction
Engage to Earn is an important part of our Karma reward program, which will incentivize meaningful contributions and collaborations from Tevans. Social connections and engagement is a big part of Tevaera 2.0 and engage to earn is the first step in enabling our long term commitment to social well being.
Karma is a Sanskrit word, which means “action, work or deed.” It refers to a cycle of cause-and-effect , often called the principle of karma, wherein the intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that individual. “Karma” is an integral part of our vision at Tevaera and our main in game utility token, which can also be exchanged for $Teva token in future.
How to participate?
We will be introducing a variety of engage to earn karma opportunities over the coming weeks and months. The program will evolve based on our experiences, community feedback and value add to the Tevaera ecosystem. To get us going, some of the exciting opportunities that we will be launching soon are:
- Select 100–150 Beta testers for the new multiplayer game
- Brainstorming threads on discord
- Rewarding active community members
- Super Tevans of the month program
- Campaigns
- Others
Note: Engage to earn Karma is open for everyone who has minted their Tevan (Citizen) ID in mainnet and linked their discord profile (instructions in tweet video)
#Engage to Earn (Discord channel)
Most of the engage to earn activities will be organized and administered in Tevaera discord channel “Engage to Earn” (see pic below). There will be occasional twitter campaigns every now and then but the winners will need to collect their Karma rewards through discord channel only. So, make sure you have linked your ID and are all set to make the most out of this program.
The names are self explanatory for most of these channels. Some more details in the next section and we will update the description for all these channels. 1 exciting addition is the Tevans hangout voice channel, where you can socialize with your fellow Tevans. Thanks Ace.eth for this idea!
Karma bot
Our first in-house bot that will facilitate the engage to earn program in discord through various commands and options to check Karma stats.
- Team commands. Grant is one of many admin commands that team will use. Grant will allow Tevaera labs team to rewards Tevans with Karma points in discord. These Karma points will be reflected real time in your Karma balance on Tevaera.com. Enjoy!
2. Tevan Commands. !info will give you the list of all commands that you can access as a Verified Tevan. Please note that these commands will only work in the #check-kp-stats channel to minimize spamming of stats in other channels.
